Our Trip To Sacramento: Day 2

On the road again....

We woke up the next morning, got dressed, and headed to breakfast. We ate at a restaurant in the hotel, Mel's. It is based around the "Happy Days" diner. Alden ate strawberry french toast, I had a great breakfast sandwich and Lyndon had a breakfast burrito. Collyn is lucky and gets a few bites of everyones meal. Of course, his fave was the french toast.

After breakfast, we loaded up the car and headed to Sacramento. Our hotel was a Mariott extended stay so the room had a kitchen and dining area and a living room with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was nice to have all that with 2 little ones on the trip.

Once we got settled into the hotel room, we headed to CVS pharmacy to get some things, Little Swimmers Diapers, some snacks, a hairbrush (That, of course, I forgot), etc. We headed back to the hotel and ate a little lunch and then of course what did we do...

Alden learned to jump into the pool on this trip. Such a big boy!

After the swimming fun, we headed a few more blocks downtown, walking and enjoying the sights, to a little pizza place, Pizza Rock. This restaraunt had one of the best pizza's on the Food Network, so of course we had to try it out. It was loud and dark (I guess we didn't understand the word "Rock") and Alden wasn't too fond of the atmosphere.

Lyndon tried a pizza (That was delicious. I tried a bite... or two) and I ordered the spaghetti. It was amazing. The boys, Lyndon and I didn't make it through the whole meal because the boys were tired, hot, and a little overwhelmed. We walked back to the hotel while Lyndon's parents got our food boxed up. We finished our meal in the hotel room.

We got ready for bed and were ready for the next day... Rehearsal day....
