Oh.. What a week!

This past week has been crazy. Like always.

Because of how much has been going on in our lives, I haven't had time to do much homework. So, this past week I have been catching up.... All day... every day.... It feels like it will never end. I still have a TON to do, and I'm hoping it will be done by tomorrow.

Lyndon has had a pretty easy week, class-wise, not homework-wise. He was able to come back on Tuesday afternoon and stay all of Wednesday and he is leaving late this morning and will be back this evening because he has no class on Friday. LUCKY BOY! :)

I've been teaching the routines at dance and tumbling. Its getting pretty hectic. Only 2 months until the recital!

ON A GREAT NOTE!

*** LYNDON AND I HAVE A HOUSE***
When my grandpa passed away, he left the house to my parents and they need to rent it out to someone. So, we agreed to live there. It is the cutest house EVER. I will put up pictures when I can. This spring, before the wedding, my mom and I are going to be fixing it up and working on it! I'm super super excited!

Until next time,

Stacy

Weekend In Review...

Ohh.... this weekend was definitely a long one...

Lyndon had February Recess at school, which means you get half a week off... in February... So, he was able to come home on Wednesday and spend the rest of the week and weekend at home. I loved every bit of it!

On Thursday, Sarah and my parents were off to California for the weekend. Well, at least until Saturday. So, Lyndon and I watched her girls and Johnny during the day and my Susan watched Sarahs girls at night. Thursday morning I got a call because Cody was sick and was wondering if I could watch his girls too. 5 kids. Oh joy! :) Haha. Johnny, Alexie, and Hannah were at school so we just had Emma and Hayden for the first few hours. At 11, we picked up the girls. Ate lunch. Then picked up Johnny. At 4, I had to work, so the kids were dropped off at Susans and Johnny went with me, since it was his day for tumbling. That night, we splurged and went out to eat. It was very relaxing.

Friday, we only had Johnny, Alexie and Emma. They colored in the morning and watched some TV. After lunch Alexie and I made cookies. Then, both girls went down for a nap. Alexie had a horrible cough and I gave her cough medicine. Knocked her out! After dinner, they went back to Susans house for the night.

Saturday.... Only half the day with the kids. In the morning, I made some brownies and Susan brought all the kids over. It was chaos. But, fun. My grandma came for lunch. The kids made posters to hang up for when my parents and Sarah got home. After lunch, we all watched A Bugs Life. Then, they returned. Alexie was so excited to see her mom. Lyndon and I ran at the first chance we had. We wanted to relax. At night, we went out to Lyndons and they played video games. I watched some TV and fell asleep.... And didn't wake up until the morning. So much for Lyndon waking me up.

Sunday.... I must have been exhausted. I woke up and it was too late to get ready for church. I decided I would be nice and make Lyndon and Kolton pancakes for breakfast. But, they had just used up the last of the Krusteez. So, I made homemade pancakes. I have lots more respect for pancake mix. HOLY MOLY! I had no idea there was so much to making a stinkin' pancake! But, they turned out good. Lyndon had been getting a head cold over the weekend and it got to its worst this afternoon. He went back to Boise early tonight to rest. I hope he is feeling better soon!

More updates to come.....

Valentines Day

Valentines day was great! Lyndon and I were going to go to Boise and register for gifts, but we decided not to because we figured the stores would be PACKED because of the holiday weekend. So, we stayed home, and it was GREAT!

We went out to dinner with Lyndons brother and then rented a movie. It took us FOREVER to agree on one. We finally chose The Good Student. It is suppose to be a thriller.... Yeah- SUPPOSE is the key word. It was not suspensful AT ALL! I was pretty disappointed with it. But, it didn't go to theatres (We now know why), and so I should have known what I was getting myself into.

The day before Valentines Day, Lyndon bought me a bouquet of daisies... My favorite flower! They are SO beautiful! I love them. I got him a whole bunch of candy and the movie Walk The Line. We don't have it, so I thought it would be a good one to watch, and also we love the song Johnny and June by Heidi Newfield, so there was a connection. :)

Sunday was great. We went to church and ate at Carls Jr afterward. We went and visited our friend Laura. We brought her some Valentines Day flowers! Her birthday is coming up, so we have to think of something to get her.

Lyndon and I both came down with the flu last night.... again! Gosh! Achy, tired, head hurts, you name it, we feel it. He didn't make it to school today and I barely got out of bed. I'm sitting here in PJ pants and Lyndons Notre Dame sweater. Thats what happened this weekend.

More to come.

Loves...

Oh... Jobs...

Lyndon and I have been having a hard time finding jobs. The hardest part is to find a job that will work with our school schedules.
My sisters mother-in-law actually called my sister this morning and said there was a job opening at Picture Me Portait Studio. And through the game of telephone, I was called and told that there was a job from my sister. So, later this morning I went and applied. I hope everything goes good and I will get the job. It is REALLY part time.. Like 2 days a week, but the hours could increase. But, its a good job to make a little extra cash. I'm still working at the dance studio, so I still have that going for me if I don't get the job.
Lyndon is still looking for a part time job. Hopefully one will pop up soon.

5 1/2 months until the wedding. I'm saving saving saving money! :) As much as I can....

Thought I would just give a little update. There will be more to come soon. Lots coming up! :)

Winter Engagement Pictures

Lyndon and I took our second session of engagement pictures yesterday. These ones are for winter. My theory is, that we are only going to be engaged once, we need lots of engagement pictures. Lyndon is a good sport and goes along for the ride.

Here are the ones that we liked, either because they turned out good, or because it shows our personality... which is wacky, nerdy, and crazy.

Enjoy!

Photobucket

Off the record... (Haha)... I love my hair in this picture. Is that too self-centered to say??

Photobucket

This is usually my reaction with Lyndon...

Photobucket

Aww... Gazing in each others eyes... :)

Photobucket

Notice: Our faces are in color, but everything else is black and white. Yeah- I had some fun with the photo editor! :)

Photobucket

Err.... That dang pager! It goes everywhere with us. Even in our engagement pictures. I think he hid it from me so I didn't know it was on.

Photobucket

He was tickling me.

Photobucket

Aww... Isn't he handsome?? :):):)

Photobucket

I like this one lots.

Photobucket

I love the black and white!

Photobucket

He was acting like he was praying.... And I'm laughing at him. What a nerd!

Photobucket

THE SUN IS IN OUR EYES!!!

Photobucket

I like it.

Photobucket

Don't ask. I have no idea.

Photobucket

Umm??? Thats just us, I guess.

Photobucket

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS ONE!!!!

Photobucket

He's actually holding me in this one.

Photobucket

There you go. There are the top ones that I like.... And think are funny. More updates and fun stories to come. Keep checking back! :)

Lots of love.

Trip To Portland

As you know, my grandpa passed away a couple weeks ago. Last week we went to Portland for the funeral. Tuesday morning my mom, aunt Abbey, and grandma left. Tuesday night, my dad and Johnny left. Tuesday night, Lindsey and my uncle Ted flew in from North Dakota. Then, up until Thursday, my Aunt Jessie flew in from Florida, my aunt Betsy and my cousin Katie flew in from Ohio, my aunt Susan came from the Portland area, my cousin Jason came from Texas (I think), Susan and Cody came with their girls from Weiser, and last but not least, Lyndon and I drove in from Weiser.

When Lyndon and I got there, the whole family was having lunch at the hotel restaraunt. We ordered last but the food came REALLY quickly. Then, everyone did their own thing. Some people went to the viewing and some people went and took a nap. Lyndon and I had just got there so we unpacked the car and got things organized in our rooms. I stayed with Lindsey and Lyndon stayed with Jason. After we unpacked we sat in the lobby area for a while and talked to my uncle Ted. My sisters family came back from shopping so we took the kids swimming. Susan said she wasn't feeling great, but she came anyway. After swimming, I went to the room and layed down for a nap. Then, it was off to dinner. We went to Red Robin for dinner with the whole family. Susan had the stomach flu so she couldn't make it.

The next morning we all got up and went to eat breakfast at the hotels restaurant. Then, we got ready for the funeral. The funeral started at 2 p.m. but we were all there at 12:30. Skipping lunch I might add! The funeral was wonderful. My uncle did the service, my cousins sang, my aunts and mom told stories, and the military did a program for his service. It was great. We didn't get out of there until 4:30. Then we went to dinner at Xavier's with everyone. After dinner, we went back to the hotel. Lindsey and I went hot tubbing and then went to bed. I was exhausted. That night, Cody and my aunt Abbey got the stomach flu. Do you see the pattern here???

The next day, my family went and had breakfast at Elmers with my grandpa Stuart and Paula. It was great getting to see them and talk to them. After breakfast, we went to IKEA, my new-found love. We shopped for a couple of hours. Lyndon and I found a table for our place when we get married. I also found candles for the wedding and a cool laundry basket! I think we should get an IKEA in Boise. :) After we got back to the hotel, Lindsey and I spent time watching TV and talking. We realized we were starving and no one had dinner plans, so why don't we go to Olive Garden!

Thats where the adventure begins. Lyndon, Lindsey and I made it to Olive Garden, went shopping at Target and Lyndon was a little confused on how to get back. I told him, "I don't know, just get us back to the hotel." HA! We were 15 miles past where our hotel is, going into Washington. I called my dad and told him where we were and he started laughing. I knew that wasn't a good sign. After going through an "Adult" part of town with stores called the "Boom Boom Room", "Golden Touch Restaraunt" and "Adult Toys" we found our way back to the freeway. 20 minutes later we were safe at the hotel. We went and talked to family and then went back to our rooms. That night, Johnny got the stomach flu.

It was our last day at the hotel. Everyone was leaving at different times. Lyndon and I left about 9 Portland time, 10 our time. It was hard to say goodbye to everyone. Lindsey and I started a great friendship, and then had to leave. But, shes going to try to make it to the wedding. :) It was a fun trip, full of adventure! :) I love getting to see family!

Here are some pictures from the trip:
