30 Minute Meals with Hannah

We have ourselves a "Rachael Ray" in our family.
Everytime Hannah comes over we HAVE to make something.

We have made chocolate chip cookies, casseroles, brownies, pies, and just today..... peanut butter cookies. She did a GREAT job!!

She had to wear the "Cookie making apron". And she used the fork and sugar to form the cookies.

We had lots of fun!

Youth Group

As you know, Lyndon is leading youth group at West Valley Church in Fruitland. I went with him on Wednesday and took pictures. On Wednesday, there were about 40 to 45 youth there. It is a really fun time.

In the youth room, there is a stage with the works. Its amazing. They have a drummer and two guitars and singers. Everytime the drums sound, the light colors change. It is like a concert every Wednesday. After worship, Lyndon has a mini-sermon that lasts about 10 minutes. Then, they break into small groups (One group for each grade... crazy!) And talk about the sermon or their week.

The youth group program at this church is great! I wish I had a youth group like this when I was in high school.

Here are the worship leaders. They did such a great job.

Football, Nap, and Cookies...

That was the extent of my day.

Today, Lyndon and I went to church, where he did the announcements and prayer. He did such a good job. I'm so proud of my hubby!!

After church, OF COURSE, its football Sunday, so that means, NFL is on ALL day! Today I made some homemade creamy chicken noodle soup. I made it the easy way...

1 can chicken
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can green beans
1/2 cup frozen corn
1/2 cup frozen peas
1 to 1 1/2 cups pasta

*Cook all chicken, soup, and veggies together in one pot and pasta in another.
*Add them together.
*EAT!

How easy. Its such a good soup for Sundays. Yumm!

After lunch Lyndon was watching football so I decided to take a nap. It lasted 2 1/2 hours.
It was delightful!

Lyndon made dinner.... Frozen Frescheta Pizza. How wonderful it is!! The supreme.. The crust is so good for frozen pizza!!!

Then, since Lyndon was STILL watching football... I made homemade chocolate chip cookies... TASTY!!!!

Right now, I have 8 boys in my house eating them.
Still watching football!!

It was a good Sunday..

My Husband Is Crazy!

Has anyone seen a crazy football fan!!?

Lyndon is CRAZY!!!

He watches Notre Dame every weekend. Today, it got to the craziest I've seen yet. He was sitting in his chair, wearing his new Notre Dame shirt, holding his blue Notre Dame football, with his Gold Notre Dame helmet on the table next to him... cheering on his team.

The first half wasn't that bad... He just yelled at the ref's a few times, jumped up and down when they scored, but when it was half-time and they were losing... It was obviously because he was sitting down...

Yes... He stood for the second half of the game... He paced around the living room, yelling and cheering, and sat during commercials because he was wearing himself out coaching from the living room!!!

In the end, Notre Dame did win... And I BET!! Its because he stood those last 2 quarters. He has now decided that he will wear the same shirt next week for good luck.

I had sisters... I had no idea boys were this weird!!! AHHH!!!!

All In All....

Good Job Notre Dame...

ATTACK OF THE LAUNDRY MONSTERS!!!!

In our laundry room, we have fold up laundry baskets to sort laundry. When the neices come over, they love to put them over their heads and run around our house. In our house, there is a loop they can run. They run through the laundry room, through the kitchen, into the living room, through the bedroom and bathroom, and back to the laundry room.

They think they are so funny!! They giggle everytime they run by and we yell "AHH!!! It's a MONSTER!!!" This will go on for up to 20 minutes.

Here are the laundry monsters that show up in our house on a regular basis. This is the Alexie Monster and Emma Monster. Hayden Monster is somewhere else in the house. We couldn't slow down that 22 month old for a photo opportunity!!

The Emma Monster is showing me how big her laundry basket can get.. What a big monster!! We are all so scared!!

Sleepy Sophie

No matter where Sophie is, she sleeps flat on her back. We rarely can get a picture of it, because once we walk past her, she moves. But, we finally got a few.

She was sleeping on our couch one day...

And then realized we took the picture. I think she is posing....

What a spoiled dog!!!

Look At Those Eyes!

Hayden wanted up on Lyndons lap one day and this is the pitiful look she gave him. She eventually got up on his lap, but before he lifted her up he took a picture.
Check out those BLUE eyes!!!

She looks pretty pitiful!!

New Jobs, New Opportunities

Life is going good. My first day of work was today. It was a lot of paperwork and instruction. The only thing I don't like about a new job is the training... It takes the energy out of you. I met a girl named Sarah. She will be working in the same office and I am. We got along really well. She is the cutest thing! She has lived in Georgia for about 8 years and has a THICK southern accent!

All day I was in Nampa at the corporate office. Tomorrow I will be in Fruitland. I am so happy and grateful I have a full-time job!

Lyndon is working at Idaho Garbologist and West Valley Church. He is really enjoying it! He has started youth group and he said that he has about 20 to 30 kids each week.
He is working at Idaho Garbologist 2 days a week. Johnny got to see the truck he drives and thinks it would be cool to go with him and help! Maybe one day he will be able to.

An exciting update!!! **Lyndon and I have Internet at our house**. We just went yesterday and signed up for a phone and DSL. We now have a home phone and I can do work at home, I don't have to go to my parents house to use it!

Not much else to say. I hope everyone is having a great week!

Until next time,

Stacy
