Johnny's 8th Birthday Party

Johnny turned 8 on July 31st. He had a swimming party at the public pool. We started out with ice cream cake and opening presents. He got lots of Star Wars gifts and a basketball. Then, all the kids and some of the adults went swimming..

17 Weeks

17 weeks along... Almost half way there! Only 3 weeks until we have our ultrasound and hopefully find out if we are having a boy or a girl!! :)

This week is going good. I have been expanding. I finally look pregnant, not that I just ate a big dinner. I'm very glad my sister gave me her maternity clothes. They have come in handy! My stomach muscles are sore from stretching and my hips are hurting. But, I guess that's what I have to look forward to for the next 4 1/2 months.

This morning I was driving to work and I REALLY felt the baby kick. I have felt little flutters here and there and I thought maybe it was just some "bubbles" but this was definite movement. I love that feeling. I can't wait until it gets a little bigger so I can feel it more.

Lyndon has his interview today for Boise Fire Dept. After this interview he has 2 timed physical tests and then we find out if he made it. I'm proud of him for getting this far!! :)

Other than that, things are going great. Nothing big going on this week. Next week we are going on a trip to McCall so that will be fun. More updates later.
