MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! 2009

Lyndon and I celebrated our first Christmas together as a married couple this year. It was different not being with my family, but it's fun starting our own traditions as a family. Lyndon was up at 6:45 in the morning. I didn't get up until 8, and he made me breakfast in bed. We got up and opened presents. Then we went out to Bob and Kems and opened presents. We came home, made our side dishes for the dinners and left for my parents house. We had a big lunch and spent time with my family and opened more presents. We went out to the Haines house and ate dinner. It was a BUSY BUSY day!!! Lots of fun!!

Christmas Eve Party

Lyndon and I had a Christmas Eve party at our house. We had all the family come and eat. We had all different kinds of snacks. The kids got goodie bags and we watched "The Polar Express". It was hard to keep the kids calm since Santa was coming! It was lots of fun.

Hayden pulling out her toys from her goodie bag. She got Mickey Mouse frisbee's. She LOVES Mickey.

All the kids were CRAZY so I gave them sugar cookies and sat them on the kitchen floor. They were quiet for a few seconds.

Christmas Cookies

Every year, Lyndon's grandma Kay has the family over and we bake Christmas cookies. Katie and Brandon were here from Irvine, CA so we got to visit with them. We made LOTS of cookies. It was lots of fun!! Lyndon and my job was to make "Reindeer" peanut butter cookies and put eyes on them.

Here is Kay, Lyndon and I while making the reindeer cookies...
