My Family In The Choir

My mom, dad, grandma, Susan, and Sam were in the church choir for the Christmas program. I went and watched them. They did a great job.

Here they are. The picture is really blurry. Sorry. The lighting is horrible in the church, so this is the best I could get.

Weiser Rural Fire Department Christmas Party

Lyndon has been on the WRFD for almost 2 years. We went to the fire departments party on December 19th. It was lots of fun. The food was amazing!! They had a slideshow of things that went on this year. It was nice to see Lyndon is those pictures. After the slideshow, they started the awards, just in time for a fire page to go out. All the guys ran out of the restaraunt. Only 1 truck was needed for the fire, so about 6 guys were able to go. Lyndon was one of those 6.

They went on with the awards. Lyndon was awarded "Rookie of the Year". Since he wasn't there, I accepted the award for him. He was very excited about this award when I gave it to him later at my parents house. Lyndon really enjoys firefighting and always gives 110 percent. I'm very proud of him!!! :)

I didn't have a ride home, since Lyndon had left, so Susan said she could give me a ride. She had car seats in the back, so I had to sit in one of them to get home. It was a tight squeeze, but I made it.

Emma also had to sit in a car seat! Here we are...

I waited at my parents house for Lyndon to get back from the fire. All the kids were there. When he walked through the door, this is the greeting he received.

Orion Home Health- Christmas Party

Lyndon and I went to my company Christmas party. We had lots of fun. It was a potluck and I wasn't able to get the dessert I wanted to make finished, so while I was at work Lyndon made brownies, we topped them with frosting and sprinkles and put them on a pretty plate. They went fast, so Lyndon did a great job!!!

They had a gift exchange. Lyndon was the first to choose and he got a bird feeder and bird food. While he was choosing a gift he was hoping for nothing "Girly". I guess he didn't get his wish!! :)

I was at the end to choose. I chose a small gift. I got a scarf and some Orange body butter. It smells AMAZING!! Since Lyndon was the first to go, he was able to trade with someone. It chose Bob's gift... A hot chocolate set. We left with some great gifts!!

Ballet Idaho Presents: The Nutcracker

One of my Christmas presents from Lyndon was tickets to Ballet Idaho's production of The Nutcracker. It was so fun!!! On our way to the Ballet, Lyndon and I slid through 3 lanes of traffic on the freeway and ended up right next to a light pole on the side of the road. Although I was scared out of my mind, we made it to the Ballet.

The production was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who likes any type of dance. I think the only reason Lyndon went was because he loves me, otherwise he wouldn't have set foot in the place!

One of my wishes in life was to see a Ballet. I have no checked it off! :):)

He we are waiting for it to begin!!

Alexie's Trip To Lyndon's Parents

We took Alexie out to see Bob, Kem and Kolton. She played with blocks and told stories about her trip to Disneyland. She built a tower of blocks with every single block she could find. It was HUGE!!!!

She dressed herself. She wanted to wear shorts, but since it was 20 degrees outside, her mom said she had to at least wear tights.... This is what she chose. Very fashionable!

Christmas Parade in Weiser

My grandma and I took Hannah, Hayden, and Johnny to the Christmas parade. We walked a block from my parents house to watch it. All the kids got about 1/2 a bag of candy each. Hannah got a beanie baby, and Johnny got a bag of Goldfish crackers from the Flyfishermans Club and a pen. The highlight of the night was they are got to see Santa Claus. When Hayden saw him, she pointed, got a big smile on her face and yelled.... IT'S JESUS!!!! Well, you can't blame a 2 year old. Christmas... Santa... Jesus... It can get confusing. I couldn't stop laughing after she said it.

After the parade, we all came back to my house, had dinner, and watched Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. And ate popcorn. And Johnny shared his goldfish. It was lots of fun!

The whole group (Minus me) waiting for the parade to start.

Touch Of Love

Every year, our church does an event called Touch Of Love. Everyone brings cookies and we package them up and deliver them to families in the community. Then, after everyone comes back, we eat baked potatoes and chili... YUMM!
