Multnomah Falls

Our family recently went on our first vacation as a family of three. We drove to the Oregon coast, which is about 8 hours from where we live, to Seaside, Oregon. It is a beautiful little town on the coast, close to the Washington border.

Since I have so many pictures to show, I am going to split them up in events that happened.


MULTNOMAH FALLS

This waterfall is about 1/2 hour outside of Portland, OR. We stopped here and had a picnic lunch with both my sisters families.



We had a simple, healthy lunch of sandwiches, blueberries, bananas, carrots, yogurt, and candy orange slices and brownies. Alden's favorite part was the bananas.



After lunch we took a half an hour to stretch our legs from driving about 5 hours straight and walked up to the falls.




After we got there, the older girls realized that there was a bridge that you could climb to and look closer at the waterfall. I volunteered to take them up while Lyndon stayed at the bottom with Alden. We eventually had a group of us to go the top.



On our way back to the car to finish the drive to the coast, we got a picture of all the kids after their climb up the hill.
