Trip to the Park

FINALLY! It is warm enough to go to the park! I told my niece, Hannah, and Alden that we could only go to the park if it was 50 degrees or above. Every day I picked up Hannah from school, she would look at the thermometer on the dash board and say, 46 degrees, 4 more until we can go to the park!

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to take Hannah to the park, but Alden and Collyn and I made our way there. It was above 60 degrees that day. In Idaho, this means shorts weather. You would be surprised how many parents had their kids in shorts and t-shirts that day. I was still wearing a sweater.

I invited my friend, Kristin, to come with us and her 2 boys that are the same ages as our boys. Alden and Logan ran around and played and Collyn and Ronan sat on a blanket and played with toys while Kristin and I talked. My sister, Sarah, and Parker came because she lives less than a block away from the park we went to. My sister, Susan, showed up on her lunch break from work to play with the boys. She ended up pushing Logan and Alden on the swings for about 15 minutes. Thanks to her, this is the least fun thing I like doing at the park... Swing pushing!

It was such a great day at the park....
