Playing In The Dirt

So, California winter weather is WAYYYY different than Idaho weather. Granted, we are in a drought right now so it hasn't rained more than twice since August. Even though it's hard for the farmers, it makes my life easier, because with 70+ degree weather and sunshine, my boys are outside almost every day playing in the dirt. What also worked in my favor was the house we are renting has amazing raised garden beds. One of them is lower to the ground, perfect for the boys to play in. They have their dump trucks and other trucks out there and they get dirty almost head to toe each day. I am able to sit, sometimes with my coffee and Kindle, soaking up the sun and enjoying the small break.
