20 Weeks

So, I am NOW officially 20 weeks pregnant. :)

Things are going good.

About Baby:

We have officially decided on the name Collyn. We are thinking that his middle name will be Lyndon, but haven't officially set it in stone. :) But, we still have time! :)

Collyn is weighing in at around 10-11 ounces and should be about 10 inches head to foot. He is swallowing and making his first little poo for momma to clean up when he gets here. :) He is moving like crazy now and I can feel all those amazing little kicks and wiggles. Alden and Lyndon have felt the kicking. Alden wasn't quite sure what to think about it. My niece Hannah also felt him kick.

About Momma:

I have gained a total of 8 pounds this pregnancy, which is WAYYYY less than I was at last pregnancy at this time. I am not working an office job this time and I am chasing around a 14 month old. I feel like that is a big reason for the amount of weight gain. Around this time last pregnancy I had gained over 20 pounds.

I am a lot more tired this pregnancy. My energy has come back since the morning sickness phase, but I don't have the amounts of energy I had with Alden's pregnancy. The doctor said it is a combination of a toddler in the house and how close together my pregnancies are.

I am now getting a belly that looks like a pregnancy belly. My belly button is flat... already and trying to pop out. I haven't had any stretch marks on my belly yet, but I still have some other places from Alden.

My next appointment is at 24 weeks. :) This pregnancy is flying by!!!!

Here are some ultrasound pictures.

The 3D Ultrasound of Collyn. He looks a lot like Alden from Alden's ultrasound.

Boy or Girl??! We are having a.....

I had my 20 week doctors appointment this past Tuesday. We had to do it early (So, I was only 19 1/2 weeks) because I wanted to combine my doctors appointment and ultrasound together.

My dad was able to go with me to my ultrasound because Lyndon came home from work with a migraine, throwing up, couldn't function.... Thank you to my sister Susan for watching Alden for me at the last minute so I could go to my appointment.

We found out that we are having a...

BOY!

Alden is going to have a little brother to play with. We are so excited. We have decided on a name, but are still throwing names around for a middle name.

Everything looked great on the ultrasound. A healthy little man in there. I have gained a total of 8 pounds this pregnancy. I am doing great with this pregnancy also.

More updates later.

Boxes.... WHAT FUN!

The best toy in the world.

Warmth!!!! A day outside!

It has been nothing but COLD in Idaho!!!! My goodness!

Finally, this past weekend, we had some nice weather. So, of course, we went out and enjoyed it. I cleaned off the front porch, swept it, and washed the windows, inside and out.

We also walked with Alden to the park. This was his first time playing on "Big Kid" toys! :) He wasn't quite sure about it, but in the end he liked it.

He went down the slide a couple times. He is still having trouble holding himself up while he slides that fast down, but if we held on to him he enjoyed it. :)

His favorite was the swings, OF COURSE!!!! What baby doesn't like the swings?

After the park, we went to Lyndon's parents house to help feed the cows. Alden loves spending time with the cows. He is very good at feeding them.

He also got to ride the lawn mower up and down the road with Grandpa. This is a great thing about country roads in Idaho. Barely any cars come by so you feel comfortable letting your 1 year old on a lawn mower in the road.

What a wonderful day! The warmth didnt last long. It started getting rainy and windy that next week and still hasn't gotten back to warm.

Happy 25th Birthday Lyndon

My amazing hubby turned 25 on March 2nd. We had an amazing time for his birthday.

During a Christmas dinner for the fire department Lyndon volunteers at, I won a gift basket. In the basket was a one-night stay at a very nice "Suite" Hotel. And you know what Lyndon and I like to do for special occasions... GET AWAY!!!! It was so nice!

We checked in to our hotel room and I started flipping through the Hotel Guest Information book. I'm not sure why I like doing this, but I do. We were about to leave to go out for dinner and I saw that one of our favorite restaurants, Romio's, delivered to the hotel. We kicked off our shoes, flipped on the TV and ordered pizza and pasta to the room!! It was delicious.

We didn't make it past 8:30. We were both snoozing away and got a full nights sleep! Completely rested in the morning. I was delightful!!!

The next day, we went shopping, went to lunch, and then went home and sat around for a while before Lyndon's big birthday party at a local pizza place. My wonderful sister watched Alden for us the entire night and entire next day so we could enjoy time together alone! :) Thanks, Susan!

I planned a surprise birthday party for Lyndon at Idaho Pizza Company in town. People from our church came, from the fire department, and friends and family from all around came to celebrate. It was so nice to see everyone.

Everyone sat around, chatted and enjoyed pizza and my mom's famous chocolate cake. :)

Of course, Alden enjoyed playing with the kids that came for the party. :)

It was a great weekend. :)

Love you Lyndon!!! Happy Birthday! :)
