Honeymoon Planning

Lyndon and I just reserved our rooms for our honeymoon. We aren't going anywhere far. In fact, we are just spending a few nights in Boise.

My reasoning: We don't have the money to go anywhere else.

Lyndon's reasoning: Who cares where we are. We aren't going to want to leave the room anyway.

So, we are planning on going on a big trip for our first anniversary. I'm hoping for Hawaii.

Lyndons Senior Banquet

On Friday, Lyndon and I went to his Senior Banquet at BBC. It was a TON of fun. We ate dinner and talked and then they had a huge production called "Senior Night Live". I was laughing hard, and I didn't even go to school there....

Afterwards, we went to the bowling alley near the college. We weren't able to bowl because it was getting to be too late and we didn't want to drive back to Weiser that late. So, we left early. It was lots of fun.

Lyndon graduates this week. He is REALLY excited. He will be graduating with a Bachelors in Preaching. I'm so proud of him. I won't be able to see him graduate because I have a dance dress rehearsal.

The dance recital is ALSO this weekend. Busy busy week. More updates later.

Why Does This Happen?

As everyone in Weiser knows, and many of you who who don't live in Weiser know, an amazing person, good friend, and someone I went all the way through school with, Joe Dickerson, was killed early Sunday morning.

I have gone through many deaths in my life. While in high school, our school went through two sudden deaths within 2 weeks of each other. Jenna Zeller and Kylene Vickers. Jenna was 2 grades below me, but I had grown up with her and known her very well. Kylene was in my grade and we had been friends since we were very young. I didn't think that this could happen again. Joe was in the same class as Jenna. The class of 2008 has gone through so much the past few years and I am truly sorry and praying for you. I am also praying for the Dickerson family and close friends of the family.

The are no words to express the feelings of losing such an amazing person.

Growing up with Joe, there were many memories with him, but last night my mom reminded me of one and I couldn't stop laughing for about an hour.

When we were younger, Joe and I were at a picnic and he wouldn't leave me alone. He kept following me everywhere. And I just couldn't get him to stop. He was everywhere I was. (I was about 6 or 7 at the time). Finally, I hid under the table by my moms legs. My mom looked down at me and asked what was going on and I told her that "Joe WOULD NOT STOP FOLLOWING ME AROUND! And I was hiding from him!!"

Many memories flood your mind after you lose someone.

I'm not sure how to end this, except....

I'm praying for all of you.

The Job Search Goes On....

I found a job. I'm working at Idaho Pizza Company. I have been there for about a week now and I'm really liking it. I'm only working there part-time. And I work evenings and weekends. I'm still looking for a different job. One that is full-time, 9-5, weekdays, and that has benefits. Hopefully I will find something before the wedding.

Lyndon has 3 weeks left of school. He is twitching. He wants to be done. He was just informed that the firefighting test he was going to take in June has been cancelled. He is pretty bummed about that, but is finding other ways to get into a fire station.

Last night, Lyndons grandpa passed away. His family is driving to Wisconsin right now. It is a 25 hour drive and they are trying to make it there as soon as possible. Lyndon is going to be doing the service. I wish I could be there to see it.

3 1/2 months until the wedding. Things are coming together wonderfully.

More updates later.

Back To School

Spring Break is OVER.... So sad. Lyndon is back to school for the last half of his last semester EVER! Can you believe it? He is going to be graduating in May. The sad part is, I won't be able to see him graduate. My dancers have a dress rehearsal that night and I need to be there for them. Kind of a bummer, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

It looks like I will be going to school for a few more semesters. I have 4 more classes that I have to finish and they are only offered one a semester. This semester I am taking International Business. My semester ends in June. And we will see if I will be able to go back in September.

Back to the books for the both of us. Oh Joy! :)

Wedding Invitations

During spring break, I am getting wedding stuff done. I've decided my number one task is to get the wedding invitations completed, addressed, and all stuffed in the envelopes. All I have to put in there now is a photo. I got them done WAY faster than I thought I would. But, I had a little help throughout the process. My sister, Susan, came and helped tie bows on the invitations and Lyndon helped pull apart RSVP's and put them in the envelopes. But, the biggest helpers were my neices, Hannah and Alexie. They sat with me as I tied bows on the invitations and hole-punched them and helped put them in boxes. They are SOOO excited about this wedding. They are already saying that they are going to be princesses and throw flowers for me. :) :) I love them to death.

Here are the invitations (Minus the ribbon)
