When Hannah came home with me after her graduation, we made brownies. We added some chocolate chips to the batter to make them more fun!!
Hannah wanted to wear aprons, so we both put on our aprons! :)
Hannah poured in all the ingredients and mixed it. I helped her with the eggs and made sure it was mixed completely.
Her family was going away for the weekend and my sister came to pick her up to go. The brownies weren't cooled yet and she was a little disappointed. I put tin foil on the pan, put it in a carrier and she got to take them with her! :) She got to share them with her family! :)

Balloons
I have found something Alden loves.... Balloons!
Hannah got a balloon for her graduation and he was so interested in it. He held it and shook it. Then, Hannah played with it and he laughed and laughed and laughed.

HAPPY GRADUATION!
My neices, Alexie and Hannah, graduated from Kindergarten yesterday. They are growing up waaaayyy too fast!
The ceremony was short and fun-filled. All the kids came into the cafeteria and sat on their mats before the ceremony started. They were so cute sitting there.

(Alexie)
They showed a video of what the kindergarteners did during the school year. Alden fell asleep on me at this point, so I passed him off to my dad so I could take pictures.
Then, they did "Special" awards for kids who missed 2 or less days of school the whole year. I was suprised how many kids there were who received this award.
Then, the girls got their diplomas. They are both in Mrs. Handel's class, so they were up on stage together.

Congratulations Miss Alexie and Miss Hannah! Lyndon, Alden, and I are very proud of you.

We Have a Roller!
Mr. Alden is rolling!
The last few days he has been rolling from back to belly, AND belly to back. He thinks he is Mr. Smarty Pants when he does it. He grins from ear to ear!
The first time he did it, Lyndon and I were out of the room and came in to see that he was on his belly. Then, the next day I was able to get the video camera out and record him rolling.
This morning he has been going everywhere rolling. He is on the move...

Green Beans
On Wednesday, we started Green Beans. He wasn't quite sure about them at first, but he is now eating them twice a day with his oatmeal.
Smallest Notre Dame fan
When Alden was born, we were given a Notre Dame jersey as a gift. It is a 12 month size jersey, but it fits him well enough that he is able to wear it.
Here is our little Notre Dame fan.

Oatmeal
Alden LOVES oatmeal. It is so nice to feed him his oatmeal and he will eat it down without a complaint. He is now in his high chair for every solid food feeding. He eats oatmeal twice a day, morning and evening.
Here he is in his high chair like a big boy!

Sorority Luncheon
Lyndon's grandma Kay is in a Sorority here in town. She gets together with them every once in a while for different events. Last weekend, she invited Lyndon's mom, Kem, and I to a luncheon for the sorority.
The luncheon was at The Galloway Inn. It is a 7,000 square foot mansion that was built in the 1890's. It is a beautiful home. We ate salad and a sandwich. For dessert we had a creme puff and sorbet. It was amazing food. We also got a tour of the entire mansion, including the 3rd floor that used to be a 2,000 square foot ballroom.
AMAZING!
I had such a good time.

4 Months Old!! :)
Alden is 4 months old. He is such a sweet little boy. I couldn't ask for a better son.
Here are some updates on our little guy! :)
GROWTH: At Alden's check-up he weighed 16 pounds 2 ounces and is 26 inches long. He is in the 75 percentile in both height and weight. He is growing up a storm.
SLEEP: Alden is sleeping through the night. At night, we do our last feeding at 8:30 PM and he is in bed by 9 PM. He will sleep until 7:30 to 8 AM. I am thoroughly enjoying sleeping through the night. It is so nice. During the day he takes his big nap between 10-1. He will sleep about 3 hours for his naps. In the late afternoon, he will sleep for an hour also.
EATING: Alden is still on soy formula. He is doing great on it. He eats about four 8 ounce bottles during the day. He also eats rice once in the morning and once before bed. This Saturday we are starting him on Oatmeal. Then, from now on every Saturday we will try a new food. I'm excited.
CLOTHING: Our big 4 month old is in 6-9 month clothing. The hard thing is that all our 6-9 month clothing is for the summer. Even though it is May, Idaho is still cold. It is in the mid 70's, but definitely not shorts weather.
DIAPERS: Alden is in size 2 diapers. I had a big box of Huggies diapers from Costco that I am still working through. I hope he will fit in Size 2's until those are used up. Fingers crossed.
DEVELOPMENT: Alden is grabbing at EVERYTHING!! He loves my necklace. He loves his play mat because he can grab all the toys. He is doing much better on his belly. He can push up onto his hand with his elbows straight. He reaches and grabs toys on his belly. He's trying really hard to roll over. He gets half-way over and then rolls back.
TOYS: Alden LOVES rattles. He loves the noise and he loves to throw them. He will shake it a ton and then you will see it fly through the air. He also has a toy that has a teddy bear head and a blanket for the body. We take that EVERYWHERE. It is his little comfort.
There is a little update on our little guy. We are having so much fun everyday!!! :)
(Here is my stink bug reading. Lyndon put it in his hands and he held it, so we took a picture. SO CUTE!)

I started dating the love of my life. Little did we know, we would have a family 4 years later!
I love Lyndon with all my heart. I couldn't ask for a better husband or father of my baby boy! I can't believe it has been 4 years already!!!

Our Little Preacher
Lyndon preached this Sunday at church. He did an amazing job, but little Mr. Alden stole the show. While Lyndon was preaching, Alden was cooing, gurgling, laughing, and talking up a storm. He was so vocal (not crying at all, just ready to tell a story) I had to take him into the hallway. After I thought he got all his words out, I sneaked back into the back of the church and sat in the back row. Well, he noticed he had a new audience... So, we were off again... Telling everyone around him a story. It was adorable.
After Lyndons sermon was over and we started singing again, I headed back up to our seats. I handed him off to Lyndon and he was chatting away. At the end of church, we had Dime-A-Day, which is a jar for change for our food pantry, missions, and local charities. Each week, a little one gets to hold the jar. Alden got to hold it this week.
There are some dollar bills in that jar. His little smile must have persuaded some folks to add a little more! :) Alden LOVED the center of attention. He was up there while his daddy did the closing and the prayer. It was so cute!
We can never have a "Normal" Sunday morning. :) But, I love it that way!
