We all hope everyone has enjoyed this Easter weekend! We have had a wonderful time spending lots of good quality time with our family. We started the day off with Alden waking up and checking out what the Easter Bunny brough him. His basket was full with a Glow-Worm toy, Elmo books, and a book of Bedtime prayers. We got ready and headed to church for the Easter service. Lyndon's parents showed up to enjoy the service with us.
Then, we stopped by the house so I could make my dessert that I was bringing to my parents house for dinner. It was a Strawberry Shortcake Trifle. It was yummy! :)
We spent time at their house eating, enjoying everyone's company and, of course, the kids got to do an Easter Egg Hunt!! Alden got to search for eggs too.
He got 5 eggs and then we watched the other kids search for eggs.
All the grandkids and my little brother found lots of eggs! They had so much fun!! Here they are with their sacks. Hannah and Alexie both wanted to hold Alden... That is why he is sideways...
After the hunt, we went out to Lyndon's grandmas house for dessert and a wild round of Wii playing. :) Grandma Donna was there and was able to love on Alden.
What a wonderful day!!! I hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter Sunday!!!
HE IS RISEN! :)

Sleeping on Daddy
Lyndon was watching Hockey the other day and Alden sat on his lap and watched it with him. He eventually got a little bored and this is how I found him. Lyndon was snuggled up with his little man.
Look At Me...
Alden is doing so good holding his head up when he is on his belly. His favorite way is to be put on his Boppy pillow so he can look around. We play like this for quite a while every day. Here he is the other day. He thinks he is so smart.

Carter's First Birthday Party
One year ago, Lyndon and I went to visit Katelyn in the hospital right after she had Carter. I can't believe it has been a year and he is already one! Alden was invited to his birthday party. He fell asleep half way through, but he enjoyed it.
We took a picture of the "guests" there. All of Carters friends. All boys in this picture. Can you tell everyone is having boys??? Alden is on the very right. It was so cute. All those babies under one. We couldn't keep them still.

Alden's 3 Month Photos
Yesterday, Alden was officially 3 months old. So, I decided to take some pictures of him to remember him at 3 months old.
I got him fed, changed, and content. Then, I put a sheet on the bed, opened all the windows and took some pictures. He is so good at taking pictures. I was very proud of him.
Here are a few of them.

After School Fun
Every few days during the week, I pick up my neice Hannah from the bus stop a block away from my house. She stays at my house until her mom comes and picks her up at 5:00.
We do lots of fun things. I've taught her how to cook some different foods, we play with Alden on the floor, we go for walks, we go to the public library that is a few blocks from my house, and we watch TV and read together.
She loves helping me take care of Alden. She will feed him his bottle and make him smile.
Last week, she came to my house, ate her snack, and was tired. I made her a little nest on the couch, and her and Alden took a nap together. It was so cute!!!

3 Months Old
Alden is 3 months old. I say this every time... I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! Where has time gone??!
He has grown and changed so much this month. We have done tons of activities also. He are some updates on our little guy.
GROWTH: Alden is weighing around 15 pounds. This is measured by me standing on the scale, then holding him. We haven't checked his length, but he is one long little boy.
SLEEP: At the beginning of the month, he was doing really good sleeping through the night. Every once in a while he would wake up once to eat. Then, he got a cold. He was waking up every few hours coughing and with a stuffy nose. We haven't gotten back to all night sleeping, but we are back down to once a night. His bedtime is around 9:00 PM and he wakes up around 4:30 AM to eat and sleeps until 8:00 AM for the day. He is sleeping in his own room every night and we use a baby monitor to hear him.
EATING: Alden is on soy formula and doing amazing. His stomach is taking the soy much better. He will eat 6-8 ounces at each feeding and eats every 3 to 4 hours during the day. We have also put him on rice cereal at night. He isn't quite sure about the spoon and the rice texture, but he is learning.
CLOTHING: I have cleaned out his drawers completely of his 0-3 month clothing. He is in all 3-6 month. Some of the pants are already getting snug because he is so long, but the shirts are baggy. He is so long!
DIAPERS: Alden is in Size 1 diapers still, just until we use them up, then he is moving on to Size 2's. We are currently using Parents Choice because they were a gift and then we will go back to Huggies.
DEVELOPMENT: Alden is doing amazing holding his head up. He is a little wobbly every once in a while, but if you sit him up on your lap he can hold it there. He is lifting his head up off the ground when he is laying on his belly. He is able to grab at toys that are in front of him and loves grabbing on to my necklace and not letting go. He is starting to coo and talk, which is adorable. He will talk to me for about 5 minutes and then gets bored. He is also smiling a lot more and giggling every once in a while.
TOYS: My neices, Hannah and Hayden, had a little Elmo toy that talks. Elmo is Alden's favorite character. They were nice enough to give it to Alden. He will hold onto it when he's laying on the floor. He is still loving his swing, and will takes naps in it during the day. He is liking his bouncer more and more. I will put it in the kitchen with me while I make dinner and he will sit and watch the whole time.
THIS MONTHS ACTIVITIES: Alden went to a state basketball game for the boys basketball team in town. He has eaten at Olive Garden in Boise. He has spent time at all our families houses and this last weekend, he even spent the night at Lyndon's parents house. They gave us the night to sleep all night. It was AMAZING! He's been going on walks around our neighborhood since the weather has warmed up.
He is growing so fast! I can't believe it.
Until next month... :)
Lyndon, Stacy, and Alden
