Love INC Service Project

The West Valley Church Youth Group did a community service project for Love INC (Love In The Name Of Christ). The girls went to the Love INC office and helped put away dishes that were for sale, helped organize and stack canned food, helped organize clothing, and cleaned. The boys went to the Love INC warehouse and built shelves and cleaned. It was such a good project. The whole youth group helped out tremendously! We are soooo proud of them.

They did such an amazing job. In an hour we did stuff that would take Love INC weeks to accomplish. It is such a good feeling serving the community for God. The youth group is currently learning that when you serve or help, you are doing it for God, not for peoples praise or attention. So, serve God and serve others. They show so much maturity when we go to these projects!

Happy Early Birthday to Emma

Emma went with us to Boise. We went to Red Robin. The employees sang to her and she clapped her hands and thought they were so fun!!! They also gave her an ice cream sundae!

We went with Lyndons family to Boise to visit their friends. Katelyn is 32 weeks pregnant and needed her stroller put together. The boys volunteered to do it. It took them a little longer than they thought it would.

Emma went to church with Lyndon and I. After church, Lyndon had a meeting in the youth loft. There is a drum set in there and Emma looked at us and said.... I WANNA PLAY THE BUMP!! So, we let her. She thought she was so stinkin' cool!!!

Valentines Day

Lyndon was gone during Valentines Day on a trip with the youth group. So, I spent the weekend alone. I missed Lyndon TONS!! But, before he left he brought these to my work!

The Girls Visit

For Valentines day, Lyndon was gone on a trip. I had Hannah and Hayden over so their parents could spend Valentines Day together. We had lots of fun....

Hannah came over one day and I was cleaning my house. She begged me to let her mop the floor. She spent about 1/2 an hour scrubbing on it, as happy as can be!! My floor was nice and shiny after she was done!

Winter Retreat 2010

As you know, Lyndon is the youth pastor at West Valley Church in Fruitland. Each year, the high schoolers go on a winter retreat. Since, I am Lyndon's wife, I was volunteered to go and help.
I wasn't quite sure what I was getting myself into, but the whole experience was amazing! I am excited to go back next year!

The first day, we got to Camp Cascade at around 4 pm. We stayed in Cabins (Which were the best thing!) The beds were even comfy! Which is weird!
we went to the main building and played games, talked by the fire and waited for dinner. We ate dinner, which was delicious! After dinner, we had worship and Lyndon spoke.

On the second day, we had breakfast, worship, and small groups. In the afternoon, we went sledding at "The Activity Barn". It was so nice. A pully pulls you to the top. You go down on tubes... It was so fun!

We stayed for 2 nights... We had tons of fun!
