Kids Day
Kids Day at the park was last Friday. I took all the kids (Minus Hayden) to the park. They bounced in the bounce house, got their faces painted, went "Fishing" and won prizes, played on Fire Trucks, saw a talking fire hydrant, saw Indians with real Tee-Pees. And watched water do some amazing things.
They had lots of fun. But were worn out by the end.
Hannah got a butterfly on her face.
Johnny got a skull with cross-bones.
Emma got a heart
Alexie got a kitty-Cat

Carnival Rides
Last Friday, all the kids went to the carnival to ride the rides. Hannah, Alexie, and Johnny have NO FEAR! Alexie was too short to go on the Yo-Yo, but Hannah and Johnny were able to. I thought Susan was going to have a heart attack when Hannah was way up going around and around and let go and started waving at the crowd.
All the kids were able to go on the AliBaba. Of course, the entire time, Alexie and Hannah were screaming at the top of their lungs. It was hilarious. The funniest part was that Hannah and Alexie wanted to ride the AliBaba again.... There was a line of people but the boys that were in the front of the line were flirting with the girls behind them. Alexie and Hannah walked right up and stood in front of them without them knowing. The boys finally caught on when the gate opened to go on and Johnny ran up and stood in front of them too. It was hilarious.
Emma wasn't able to go on the big rides, but she was able to go on the car rides. She was so excited to be able to ride SOMETHING!

Pie Throwing Contest
I'm finally caught up.
Fiddle week was last week. On Saturday, 12 men who support the community in some way were auctioned off the have a pie thrown in their face. The fire department raised over $100 to support the cause. All the money went to the Special Olympics.
My dad was one of the contestants... So was Cody.
Of course, I wanted to throw a pie in my dad's face. The firefighters bought my dad for $45.00 and Cody for $65.00.
I found great joy in throwing a pie in my dads face. I didn't really throw it, It was more of a smear and rub all over the head.....
My dad all nice and clean before the pie..... :)
Smearing the pie all over.... Look at the expressions in the background... Priceless.
The after shot.
Cody all nice and clean.

Kolton Gets A Haircut
Locked In The Bathroom
For a few months, Lyndon was practicing knots for the fire department. There are lots of different knots you can tie for different occasions. He was practicing them all day... every day. Kolton was constantly making fun of him for practicing them all the time.
One day, Kolton went into the bathroom and with Lyndons knowledge of knots, locked him in by tying the bathroom door knob to Koltons bedroom door knob. When Kolton tried to leave, he couldn't get out.
He hasn't made a comment about the knots since......
